SV	Daartoe bouwde hij vaste steden in Juda; want het land was stil, en er was geen oorlog in die jaren tegen hem, dewijl de HEERE hem rust gaf.
WLC	וַיֹּ֨אמֶר לִֽיהוּדָ֜ה נִבְנֶ֣ה ׀ אֶת־הֶעָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה וְנָסֵ֨ב חֹומָ֣ה וּמִגְדָּלִים֮ דְּלָתַ֣יִם וּבְרִיחִים֒ עֹודֶ֨נּוּ הָאָ֜רֶץ לְפָנֵ֗ינוּ כִּ֤י דָרַ֙שְׁנוּ֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ דָּרַ֕שְׁנוּ וַיָּ֥נַֽח לָ֖נוּ מִסָּבִ֑יב וַיִּבְנ֖וּ וַיַּצְלִֽיחוּ׃ פ
Trans.	14:5 wayyiḇen ‘ārê məṣûrâ bîhûḏâ kî-šāqəṭâ hā’āreṣ wə’ên-‘immwō miləḥāmâ baššānîm hā’ēlleh kî-hēnîḥa JHWH lwō:

AC	ו ויאמר ליהודה נבנה את הערים האלה ונסב חומה ומגדלים דלתים ובריחים עודנו הארץ לפנינו כי דרשנו את יהוה אלהינו דרשנו וינח לנו מסביב ויבנו ויצליחו {פ}
ASV	And he built fortified cities in Judah; for the land was quiet, and he had no war in those years, because Jehovah had given him rest.

Sch	(H14-5) Und er baute feste Städte in Juda, weil in jenen Jahren das Land Ruhe hatte und kein Krieg wider ihn geführt wurde; denn der HERR gab ihm Ruhe.
